About

Wilton McKinley Glenn of Will and The Word Worship Music, Inc. was born in the Philippines. He has been a worship team member & leader or guest lead musician and sometimes a preaching pastor since youth. He always recognized Jesus in the Eucharist in his childhood and as he learned to read when he was between the ages of 7-10, specifically Romans and Galatians in the ages of 7-10. He debated on and off about Romans 10, confession of the mouth and heart, Roman Catholicism, and what the circumcision of the heart that some Televangelists even meant. He became a Christian and was saved at a CIA/FCA (Christians in Action & Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Youth Rally around the age of 16 in his HS auditorium when first hearing his then Asst. Youth Director and also a Senior year student role model sing while they  worshipped, play, & preach about God. Thank you Jeff MacDonald and Chad Giles. This was Wilton’s 1st of many worship songs at any rally or concert. The specific lines in the music that shaped his heart to Jesus were “I’m sorry Lord for the things I’ve made it, when it’s all about You. It’s all about You Jesus” of the song “Heart of Worship” by Matt Redman.

He learned piano & keys lessons first privately at 11 at Mike’s Music in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He became a singer in a UMC youth choir & band as well as active in youth ministry on the media team on separate nights at a nearby Baptist church where he was eventually baptized in profession of faith at 17 and got a Student License Ordained for college. Throughout time, he continued piano/keys private lessons, once again at Crosspointe Niceville in a summer in his 20s and a Fall/Winter Semester in his 30s at Brandon Music Showcase in Tampa, FL. Thank you Susanne. He also had played acoustic guitar since 15 years old, learning from various friends & with his first private lesson at FSU the summer of 2005, then from Chris Nida from NWFSC in 2012 while in music and worship ministry on the Emerald Coast with many churches from 2010-2014 and now from Jeffrey Kunde’s Guitar Master Class and Ian Macintosh’s Synth U online on guitar and keys respectively. He also subscribes to Jake Gosselin’s more technical Churchfront’s Worship Ministry School, Bethel Music’s WorshipU Discovery Online lessons in songwriting, musicianship, and leadership, and Worship Online lessons on bass, guitar, and keys and tutorials from Worship Artistry by Jason Houtsma and Worship Tutorials as well.

He went to Samford after high school at the age of 17 to first study Religion, and interim preached all throughout Alabama, where he was first acquainted with his brother Kristian Stanfill of Passion Band. He ended back up on the Gulf Coast and gained his A.A. at FSU, where he joined CRU ministry in 2004-2006. There he helped produce his other role model & friend’s CRU guest worship leader, where he Student Servant Lead, Christian Artist and worship leader Jonny Diaz, “Irony” 1st cut music video. He graduated with a B.S. of Science in Electronic Media & Film: TV, Video & Audio in 2010 from Towson after FSU where most of his other family lived.

He recorded with Rhoda Weck by Chromatic Studios on an album called “The Will and The Way” in 2013, which he performed at many venues. Another demo live EP was done at Emergent Recording and Production House called “The Will, The Word, & The Way”. Through Ian Macintosh’s lessons on Ableton he learned more tracking and mixing when he did “The Will vs. The World” & “The Solar Eclipse of All Time” in 2016. This music is all now underground.

In 2014 he was rededicated by baptism through his old youth and young adult church with Shalimar UMC in the Gulf off of Okaloosa Island and baptized with “fire” by Pastor Adam Mills & Pastor Jonathan Hart. Thank you.

He finished his MA in Theology at St. Leo in winter of 2018.

After time spent there in the Tampa region doing worship music ministry all around Central FL, he decided to not to go, though they said yes to Him in discernment, denying himself to St. John of Vianney Miami Catholic Seminary in Miami, FL. It is not the way. Will returned back to the 850 in Feb. 2022, Destin/Fort Walton Beach/Okaloosa Island area and worked and continued studying. He was baptized with the “Holy Spirit” as a part of the Jesus Revolution Reawakening and a new church opening in one of his favorite locations and re-gave his testimony about near Gnosticism by way of the Catholic and Christian studying he had done through his experiences at Calvary Chapel FWB by Pastor Andrew Falleur and Pastor Curt Obrigewitch.

Between Tampa, Clearwater, Canada, Texas, Nashville & worldwide collaboratively co-writing and producing, he leads, co-writes with multiple songwriters, and produces and records with team members, songwriters, musicians, collaborators, co-producers corporately as the Church ministry brand and self-owned business projects for his band & brand established in 2020: “The Will and The Word Worship”

Will is the Creative Arts Worship Pastor/Director for “Will & The Word Worship” productions and as needed at other events or filling in as a guest lead or musicianship in NWFL Churches and even Alabama. He does this and even when not producing, is at a local coffeehouse studying or playing and singing for fun, working, or with family and/or at times, other local charity events.

He attends Gathering House Co and has been asked to play the bass guitar. His return to basic modern Christianity is out of a love and belonging authentic feeling that he has longed for many years while being isolated in his MA Th. and looking back glad for those experiences, yet, even more so glad to experience Christ genuinely and authentically in reflection, writing, studying, and creating music, not out of a works based faith based performance. Wilton studies online with the WorshipU Online Bethel Music platform track in Songwriting, Musicianship, Song lessons & more like SynthU by Ian Macintosh and Jeffrey Kunde’s Guitar Masterclass of Jesus Culture. Wilton will attend Bethel Music Worship Ministry School in July of 2025 finally, praise God. He leads part-time in Burn 24/7 Worship Revival teams and moments in Pensacola Burn.

Will, Wilton McKinley Glenn, has just been accepted to the Master’s of Divinity Program and is studying as a seminarian at Southeastern University online for the next 3-4 years in Theology and Ministry. Some of his former, and current writings and work are in the Book section which links to a different personal blog website. Thank you God for Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit’s breath in my lungs to experience You, Y’shua, and all of these things. May I grow “to know You more and make You Known” (Is. 26:8).
